Our mission is to empower businesses and create positive impact in communities needing it most.
Whether you are a global enterprise or a micro-business in an emerging nation, we are with you with purpose.
We believe that purpose driven business is one of the most powerful and sustainable ways to create economic and social good, which is why with every project launched through Wp Agency, we help fund a micro business in a developing country.
Every idea starts with a problem.
Ours was simple: digital agencies aren’t accessible for everyday businesses. We had worked several years at some of the world’s biggest digital agencies, yet had a strong desire to help everyday people, especially those needing it most.
We realised that empowering businesses to achieve their objectives, would help our mission of creating positive impact in communities needing it most.
Wp Agency was founded in 2013 by Andrew Yang and Marianne Sea.

Social entrepreneurs and purpose driven businesses work to solve critical social problems and address basic unmet needs through entrepreneurship. Their innovations create system change, improving the lives of underserved or marginalized groups.
Despite the increased attention that social entrepreneurship has received in recent years, there is no precise definition. Various organizations describe social entrepreneurship differently:
Ashoka defines social entrepreneurs as “individuals with innovative solutions to society’s most pressing social problems” who “find what is not working and solve the problem by changing the system, spreading the solution, and persuading entire societies to move in different directions.”
The Skoll Foundation calls social entrepreneurs “society’s change agents, creators of innovations that disrupt the status quo and transform our world.”
Wp Agency partners with non profit micro-finance institutions such as Kiva.org to ensure that with every project you launch through us, we help fund a micro business in a developing country. We have built this cost into our expenses, not our pricing, as Wp Agency was founded with the premise to offer digital agency services at fair prices – while helping lead the way as a socially conscious business.
Micro-finance institutions (MFIs) provide small (a few hundred dollars) un-collateralised loans (‘microcredit’) to entrepreneurs to start up micro-businesses. Micro-finance is not without its challenges however has shown to help alleviate poverty in developing countries by promoting economic development, employment and growth.
Not at all. Wp Agency has worked with companies of all types and sizes. By empowering you to achieve your business objectives, that helps us to assist others in need.

Whilst great strides have been made these past 20 years in alleviating global poverty and specifically extreme poverty, a sizeable portion of the world population still live on less than $4 per day.
We believe that by funding micro businesses in developing countries to help remove people from poverty, we’ll provide those same people with the self-determinism to transform their own communities and subsequent quality of life.
The primary focus has been on funding retail, food and agriculture based micro businesses as these are more likely to spur greater change in those communities. We have formed strong relationships with field partners that work actively with micro-businesses to ensure delinquency and default rates are kept to a minimum, thus ensuring the accountability and self determinism of the people and communities we’re helping to remove from poverty.
The below insights have been pulled directly from Kiva.org, in the near future our clients will have the ability to decide which micro businesses they fund and where.
Our 2020 vision is to help fund over ten thousand micro businesses through our digital agency services. In order to achieve this we’ll be investing heavily in our product and workforce so as to deliver those services and value at scale.
We’ll also be increasing transparency and engagement for clients by not only allowing them to choose which micro businesses they fund, but also providing them with regular updates on progress and the opportunity to reinvest repaid loans into those same or other micro businesses.
